Some text messages are casual and ordinary. But there are some, which are chilling and scary.  Here’s some of the text messages that freaked out people.


“Mom, if I make it home, I need you. I’m scared”

This was sent by Alesha Bell, 18, who was walking to visit a relative, when she sent her mother this text message. She never made it to her relatives’ house. Several months later, her bones were found in the backyard fire pit and in the woods behind the house of James Brooks, who was arrested in connection to missing of other girls too.


“The boys are dead and so am I”

Robertson White Deane, 36, had recently been separated from his wife and she was living with their children, Austin, 2, and Jacob, 7, at her grandfather’s house. On November 8, 2014, she dropped the boys off with their father to spend a weekend, after which she received this text message from him. Ashley Deane’s sons were shot by Rob Deane before he killed himself.


“I needed to do this tho … I wasn’t happy. And I need my crew with me too. I’m sorry. I love you.”

One Friday last October, 15-year-old freshman Jaylen Fryberg sent this text message to his family when he gunned down five students at the school in Marysville, Wash., killing them before pressing the pistol under his chin and killing himself.


“I think I am going to die.. I’m so scared”

. Miss Parry, who suffered from bulimia, bought diet pills online containing toxic pesticide 2,4 Dinitrophenol, known as DNP. Miss Parry drove herself to A&E after becoming unwell, shortly after taking eight of the pills. She died later that day. In the hours before her death, Miss Parry sent this text message to her college lecturer from A&E.


“Enjoy your life without us now…He’s dead…And soon I will be too”

This text message was sent by Tony Moreno to his ex Adrianne Oyola before he threw their seven-month-old son Aaden off a bridge and into the Connecticut River. Moreno then jumped in the water himself. He survived and was charged with murder.


“OMG… I think I’m being kidnapped”

14-year-old April Millsap texted this message to her boyfriend, when she was believed to be out walking her dog along the Macomb Orchard Trail in a rural area north of Detroit. Joggers found her body in a drainage ditch near a trail she walked along every evening being guarded by the dog in Armada, Michigan.
